Beet Smoothie Boosts (Berry & Chocolate)

Beets are full of benefits, from boosting your stamina and detoxifying your system to improving your skin’s glow. Whether you’re looking for a refreshing, tangy blend or a creamy, indulgent treat, this recipe offers two delicious ways to enjoy beets in your smoothie. Berry Blast Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 small beets, chopped and skin removed
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk or other plant-based milk
  • 2 tbsp plain non-dairy yogurt
  • 1 tbsp of agave or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Add more liquid as needed for desired consistency.
  2. Pour into two glasses and enjoy!

Chocolate Milk Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 small beets, chopped and skin removed
  • 2 large ripe bananas, frozen
  • 4 tbsp cacao powder
  • 4 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk or other plant-based milk
  • 2 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Add more liquid as needed for desired consistency.
  2. Pour into two glasses and enjoy!
